Descartes Offers Asian Language Versions of its Routing and Scheduling Software
Waterloo-based Descartes Systems Group Inc., a provider of logistics solutions, announced that its routing and scheduling solution, Descartes Roadshow, is now available in localized double-byte language versions for the Asian market. Targeted to both new and existing customers, Descartes Roadshow now supports two key double-byte languages, simplified Chinese and Korean. Suncor Energy to Export Synthetic Crude Oil to Japan
Calgary-based Suncor Energy Inc announced that it has agreed to a distribution agreement with Japan’s Sumitomo Corp. This agreement grants Sumitomo Corp the rights to sell and distribute Suncor’s synthetic crude oil to Japanese domestic distributors, which makes Sumitomo, the first company to do so in Japan. Palcan Signs Joint Marketing Agreement with Japanese Conglomerate Nagase & Co Ltd
Burnaby-based Palcan Fuel Cells has announced a joint marketing agreement with the trading company Nagase & Co Ltd of Japan to distribute fuel cell stacks and systems for the Japanese marketplace. Palcan's fuel cell is aimed directly at low output applications where smaller internal combustion engines and batteries are the power source. These include personal transport and fleet type vehicles used in closed range environments (e.g airports, golf courses, malls), two- and three-wheeled scooters, as well as stationary, marine and portable power applications. The 11th Annual Ambassador's Cup Golf Tournament
Presented by The Japan Society
This year's tournament will be played at Glen Abbey Golf Course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, and host to the world's top pros at the 2004 Bell Canadian Open. Registration fee is $ 300.00 + GST and will include lunch, dinner, golf with cart and opportunities to win many prizes including Two Return Executive Class tickets to anywhere in Asia, courtesy of Air Canada and two Hole-in-one opportunities for new vehicles courtesy of Toyota Canada Inc. and Honda Canada Inc.
