In early March 2026, the Prime Ministers of Japan and Canada will meet in Japan for a bilateral summit. Following this significant engagement, Mr. Ian G. McKay, Ambassador of Canada to Japan and Special Envoy for the Indo Pacific, will visit Toronto to deliver an exclusive and timely post summit briefing.
This luncheon will offer first-hand insights into the discussions between the two leaders and the outcomes and agreements emerging from the summit. The event provides a valuable opportunity for professionals engaged in Canada–Japan relations, diplomacy, trade, innovation, and Indo Pacific affairs to hear directly from one of Canada’s most senior diplomatic voices.
