Founded in 2024, the Japanese Canadian Lawyers Association (“JCLA“) connects generations of Japanese Canadian lawyers, justices, and other legal professionals. This organization brings together legal professionals of Japanese heritage (including issei, nisei, sansei, yonsei, and hapas) along with those trained and educated in Japan, and Japanese-speaking legal professionals in Canada. The JCLA aims to inspire collaboration and promote diversity within the legal profession in Canada. To join JCLA’s membership, or for more information, please visit www.jcla.ca.
